Are you a cultural or creative entrepreneur based in South Africa, Lesotho, or Malawi? This is your chance to be part of a ground breaking initiative introduced by the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs-Creation Africa.
What is Creation Africa?
The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs coordinated by the Embassy of France and the French institute of South Africa (IFAS), is calling for cultural and creative entrepreneurs to apply for incubation through the Creation Africa initiative. This has been implemented as France and southern Africa are strengthening their partnership with creation for Africa, a new initiative supporting cultural entrepreneurs in South Africa, Lesotho and Malawi. Creation of Africa is part of a wide French investment in the cultural and creative industries (CCIs).
The aim of this program is to support and boost emerging creative and cultural entrepreneurs across Malawi, Lesotho and South Africa through funded mentorship, incubation and immersion so as to strengthen the networks, skills and capabilities of these creative and cultural entrepreneurs. As according to Lara Rosmarin, Head of Entrepreneur Development and incubation programme at UVU Africa, this customized incubation programme is designed to foster the development of cultural entrepreneurs and creative minds who play a pivotal role in shaping the dynamic cultural landscape of the sector.
How can Creation Africa benefit you, as a cultural and creative entrepreneur?
